The key values of the 22HLAV team also include perception, interest, and humanity. We believe in the power of helping others and in social responsibility, and we strive to act accordingly. By establishing the charity fund Dobrofond, we want to contribute together to positive changes around us.
The need and desire to help have been with 22HLAV for many years. We regularly participate in charity runs and support various collections and initiatives. Our team has long had a modest charity fund, to which colleagues contribute on various occasions. The Dobrofond charity fund with a dedicated account was established with the aim of inspiring and supporting other people in this activity. Therefore, every year we select one organization or project for which we will collect funds throughout the year and multiply them from our own profits up to a certain amount. Who will we help this year?
For 2025, we have decided to support the Barevný svět Day Center, which provides assistance and support to children and adults with disabilities, especially those with mental and combined disabilities, physical disabilities, chronic mental illness, and visual impairments, as well as assistance and support to their families. It currently operates three registered social services: two day care centers, social rehabilitation, and two sheltered housing facilities, as well as a textile workshop and shop called Krasohled and three training cafés where people with mental disabilities find employment.
We as well as the selected organization will be grateful for any amount you contribute to the charity fund. Who can propose an organization or project for next year, and how?
Anyone who contributes to the charity fund Dobrofond has the opportunity to nominate an organization or project for selection for the coming year until December 31.
How is the selection of supported organizations or projects carried out?
During January, the Dobrofond working team will meet to review the proposals. Our goal is to support smaller local organizations or projects that help specific people and do not receive significant financial support from other sources. At the same time, we want the target amount raised to be significant for the organization or project in question and not just a drop in the ocean of large subsidies and donations. Because we are familiar with this field, we also evaluate the financial management of the proposed organizations. The decision will be published on the Dobrofond website in the first quarter.
Where are donor contributions collected and how does 22HLAV contribute?
Donors' financial contributions are directed to a dedicated account at ČSOB. Any bank fees charged will be covered by 22HLAV, which will also double the amount collected by December 29 to up to 0.5% of the company's net profit for the given year. The entire amount will be transferred from the dedicated account to the account of the selected organization or project by December 31 of the given year.
Once the entire process has been completed, we will also send a short evaluation report on the amount collected to all donors who are interested.
